The Kimberly General Store has everything you need, plus some delicious baked treats, and the patio at Justin's Oven is the perfect place to wind down after a long day exploring the region or relaxing with a book on the back deck. "Melanie has created a beautiful, comfortable and relaxing space in Kimberley. The guest home has 3 bedrooms, one nicely updated bathroom, a kitchen and two living areas. The backyard is so peaceful, green, and silent except for the birds singing their lovely songs. Located in a small town, a couple doors down from the charming general store and a great pizza place, the surroundings of this small valley town with mountain views are breathtaking. Melanie is readily available and very friendly, and her passion is creating a safe, creative space for play and expression. While staying here I wrote two songs, did yoga and meditated on the patio. It’s a peaceful place with wonderful energy, I would definitely come stay here again. The house itself is so pretty, a red brick Victorian home. There are also many great hiking spots nearby, and it’s about 20 minutes to Blue Mountain and to Thornbury, another lovely small town by Georgian Bay." - Clara Klein

"A perfect family getaway with our grandparents. Spending quality time together. Some highlights: kayaking along the Beaver river, hiking on the Bruce Trail, eating at fantastic local restaurants and the discovery of a mama cat with her kittens hiding in the sumac trees. We chose Kimbuktu for its central location to many areas we wanted to explore and we were so happy we chose to stay here. "We really enjoyed our long weekend stay at Mali's guest home in the beautiful Beaver valley. The location makes an excellent "home base" for exploring the area. There is lots to see and do. The village of Kimberley is friendly and the general store was our favourite hub while visiting. The guest house is clean, cozy and comfortable. "We had a wonderful weekend staying at Melanie’s place in Kimberley. She was fantastic to communicate with and ensured we were completely happy with everything when we arrived. The home was the perfect size for us, 3 adults and 2 young kids. The backyard was great for campfires and s’mores! Kimberley is the perfect laidback place to stay while still being close enough to Collingwood and Thornbury. Highly recommend checking it out!" - Scott
